What are Utori?
Utori are birds with two sets of wings that represent music. The smaller set of wings is used to manipulate the air and amplify their songs. All utori sing the song that they're based off of. Groups of utori that are based on the same song often flock together and hold concerts for other utori and animals to hear. Utori take a lot of pride in their singing voices so they avoid anything that could strain their voice.
How are utori born?
Like all birds, utori hatch from eggs. Baby utori chicks are called hibiko ( hibike + ko / echo + child ) They are very round and fluffy and have little nubs where their mini wings will grow.
Where do utori live?
Utori live wherever you would expect a bird to be. They all live in a grand tree with little bubble shaped bird houses as homes. At the base of that tree is a large concert hall for events. Each bubble home is different according to the preference of the utori. They decorate their homes very nicely.
